 ah, the ole volume spiel

So when their vendors, i.e. escrow officers suggest they should lower their fees for their client volume, it actually doesn't filter down to notaries in the same way...their volume is not our volume because we have all the vehicle wear and tear, paper, toner, all the expenses and the SS gets all the gravy.

I never did see the wisdom in making this proposal to notaries. All it does is make me shake my head. Like, we're that dense? SS's are really taking advantage of notaries in this manner.
