Some newbies are too big for their britches. They should all be ecstatic to jump in at the right time and getting any closings good or bad. Many years none of us were working much at all. As far as unionizing? Why should a notary with less than a year of experience get as much as someone with 15 years? Why should a notary in NYC get as much as someone in "little town"USA?..There is no way to have a set fee except what you feel you need to make a profit. CA and MN has far much more training than FL. It takes time, it take expereince to find great companies who will pay what you are worth. Until you get a few thousand closings beneath you, you are not there yet. In the beginning I did a lot of crappy closings and worked for crappy companies that took awhile to pay, but it was what we did starting out at the bottom. We have all been there...be patient! We are on the up swing now, but we are going to see a fall, and Jan is comming where we do nothing.
