That's right - that's because that "Paraph" at the end of the Virginia note is NOT a notarization - it's a **certification by the notary** that it is the note described and secured by a Deed of Trust. This is not a notarial function - this is a title function. I have been told by our SOS that we as Florida notaries are not allowed to sign that. |
