Montecito, Summerland, Carpinteria in high danger today
Posted by  Cheryl Elliott of CA on 12/16/17 9:24am Msg #29856
The winds kicked up very early this morning and will be here until late this evening.

It is the highest danger point in 12 days of the Thomas Fire.

Note: the Skirball Fire was started by a cook stove at a homeless encampment under the freeway at Sepulveda.

We do not know yet how the Thomas Fire was started at Steckel Park in Santa Paula.

The air quality is absolutely horrible here. At least we have more humidity, but no rain is in the forecast to assist firefights in their battle of high flames in the foothills over Montecito area.

Pray for our firefighters and community.
