That's scary! To have a signing disappear like that? I've started taking and saving screen shots and saving any texts or emails regarding signings. The damage to the package isn't your fault, it happened in transport...if anything, they should pay you the same amount if they want you to resign the deal. You followed the correct protocol when it came to packaging the docs. Good luck and I hope it works out for you!
