Your story reminded me of a signing at a fire station I did a few years ago. Same thing happened...started the paperwork and they got a call. He asked if I minded waiting (something about the call made him think they wouldn't be long). I said sure and they left me there. Told me to help myself to anything in the kitchen and I could change the channel on the TV if I wanted. I think I used the time to clean out my email. They were back in about 10-15 minutes.
Still can't believe they left me there--haha! Of course, it's a pretty small town, and they probably figured a notary wouldn't do anything crazy :-) |
