yes, it is a lender call. In this case, I took instruction from the SS (hiring authority). Completed the signing. Courier picked up signed/notarized docs this morning. Escrow/SS have instructed to reprint all the docs and I will re-sign the buyer tomorrow morning. And, yes, I agree it is a flawed theory.
Years ago, I did secondary marketing. Our policy was not to buy loans that the sign date was before the date on the docs. And, NO ONE would buy our loans if the sign date was before the date on the docs. So, I guess that colors my thinking. It was a reason we used if we wanted to get out of buying a loan/loans. |
