I did a signing -sellers side and was only offered $70 (I don't usually work that cheap but this was a different circumstance) anyway the notary fee o the settlement statement was listed at $175 so I called them and asked why they only offered $70 to the person doing most of the work.
The answer I received was that the title company just slapped that amount on there and that they really weren't going to be billed that much. So I said that
Whatever. I was born on a Saturday but it wasn't last Saturday...
