You can call "THE INVERTER STORE" they are very helpful, google them. A laser printer (when booted up) uses 3X electric so if you have a laser that's 350 watts you need about a 1500 watt "PURE SINE INVERTER" (I'm capitalizing for easy viewing, cause this is very important). I used a printer in my car several years it was a pain. If it jammed (and it did) I had to pull off the road to fix the problem. And if you forget to turn off the inverter after printing and you've turned off the engine to your car you WILL burn up the battery and possibly the electrical system. I think carrying a long electric cord is the answer don't risk your car. And by the way most laser printers these days are over 500 watts so the "pure sine inverter" will be pretty big. |
