Depositing Cashiers Checks for Client

I accepted a signing that was cancelled. The company that hired me said that the sellers are backing out, the package being sent has cashiers checks intended for the seller. The company now wants me to deposit the checks into their account, they gave me their bank account number....have any of you had this experience? Do you think it is fishy?
