| I did that once with a police officer at an accident scene. It was a redraw, with the first one done at his station, so he wasn't expecting to have to sign again (mistake by someone other than him or me). He was on duty, at a site where a person had run off the road and taken out a couple of trees, so he expected to be there for several hours and we didn't have much choice. (Fortunately, everything was cleaned up by the time I got there.) He came across as a model of what we'd want in a public servant, so I was happy to accommodate, even though we were on the trunk of my car - at night, under a street light. Fortunately, it wasn't too cold or windy, in a safe commercial area, and we'd already been through it all once... Could have been much worse! |
