Example of a certificate for verification on oath that could be attacked in a RULONA state:
State of Vermont County of Grand Isle Before me the undersigned authority personally appeared Mary Doe who, being by me duly sworn, deposed and says:
Today the sky is blue.
/s/ Mary Doe
State of Vermont County of Grand Isle Signed and sworn to (or affirmed) before me on 1 August 2019 by Mary Doe
/s/ Ethan Allen __________________________________ Signature of notarial officer
(seal) ========= end of example ===============
The certificate could be attacked because the preamble might be part of the certificate. If so, it isn't the standard short form certificate anymore, so all the requirements must be written down. But it isn't written down that the notary checked the ID of the signer. |
