Personally I think Indiana needs to better word this law

"Notaries can charge $10.00 per notarization. A notary may charge $10.00 per signature, including signatures within the same document"

Would have been a lot simpler to just say "$10.00 per signature notarized" - as it stands now the law is double-speak. So much so they had to go on and *explain* what they mean. And I'll bet there's a lot of future misinterpretation of this law by notaries.

And I agree with VT - looks like they've taken you from open agreement on mileage to regulation and restriction on what you can charge.
