On Bitcoin/blockchain vs. Notarization...

This is from a FB post by the American Association of Notaries:

Some of the tech stuff made my eyes glaze over, but I thought this was an excellent explanation of at least one reason why blockchain technology shouldn't take the place of a notarization. Bottom line, it's too easy to set up the equivalent of a second set of books. While some of the choice of words explaining what a notarization does may be inaccurate (at least in the US), he makes a good point about a notary being able to verify willingness of a signer, and how that differs from what is done with blockchain coding.
