If they're going to charge for it, it had better work. No one is going to want to pay for a solution that lets the bulk of the calls get through.
I've read that all of the major carriers have started working with call-blocking companies such as Hiya and Youmail in order to leverage their technology rather than reinvent the wheel, and several of them are just about ready to roll the services out, so we'll see. They also have to come up with a solution for number spoofing, which is equally annoying. |
