I get your frustration and read your post as an EOM vent. Any of us can hit our last nerve when we get screamed at by a potential hiring party.
I do agree with the others that the software used makes assumptions that don't always apply. For example, I often get hits or calls for an area that, as the crow flies, looks like it should be reasonably reachable from my base. What it doesn't show is that there's a mountain in between, so going to that area either means driving a 2-lane, swervy, potentially dangerous mountain road or going around it, which adds too many miles (not to mention traffic) to make it worth it to me anymore.
I just say no. But I don't recall anyone yelling at me for that, even though I wouldn't have to cross state lines! |
