I just received one of these the other day from a Daphne Wei at wei_daphne@yahoo.com which is probably a false name. She knew my name and my email address, obviously, and claimed that she needed "something notarized by my company." Notice the incorrect grammar. Oftentimes, these spammers use English as a second language, and that can be a clue. Anyway, She attached a PDF entitled "Authorization for Notary Publics," which I didn't open. I didn't reply to her because, fortunately, I don't do GNW for people that haven't used me before and because I don't do business that way. I just wanted everyone to know to still be careful with opening attachments from strangers. |
