The latest in the Trump follies - he went into great detail at two campaign rallies today to describe a "top secret" video from Iran he saw today that showed US representatives carrying $400 million in cash from a plane that landed in Iran. Filmed by the Iranians to embarrass America, and somehow he got a copy.
The problem - no such video exists.
His campaign spokesperson admitted that the "top secret" video he was talking about is actually what is known as "b-roll", supplemental footage used to fill in a main story - in this case, footage of people walking off a plane in Sweden.
Think about this - his own campaign is saying he's wrong, but he's sticking with the lie. They're not making excuses for him and trying to spin it this time - he's on his own.
The voices in his head are telling him he's right, but they should be telling US that he is straight out bat-sh*t crazy. What sane individual makes up stuff like this, to the point where they take b-roll and craft it into something sinister? And continue the lie after his campaign admits it's not true? |
