The two things aren't equivalent.

Trump was complaining that the election was being rigged against him by the elite in this country. He never provided any proof of that, he just kept repeating it until his supporters started believing it, which is the way he usually does it when he's trying to sell something that's not true. Any complaint that Obama or Clinton had about his allegations had nothing to do with foreign entities and everything to do with the unsubstantiated claims of domestic vote rigging. Clinton did raise the issue of possible Russian hacking in all three debates, but didn't say that the election was being rigged against her.

Now we know that they did in fact hack us, that they did it to try to influence the election by sowing confusion in the minds of the electorate, and that they may (as yet unproven) have been trying to help Trump. That's very different from the accusations Trump was making about the mysterious elite working against him.
