I thought the State fo the Union (SOTU) was to inform the public of the actual State we find oursleves in.
And, once again our politicians have morphed it into a political campaign speech.
Ben Franklin, The Adams brothers, Tom Jefferson, Alex Hamilton, John Hancock and friends are spinning in their graves.
It is way past time to make political parties a thing of the past.
In this day and age, individuals can very cheaply contact almost everyon thru social media and websites. No more parties, let we the people make up our own minds and decide who is on the ballot.
It CAN BE DONE but those useless SOB's we have will not vote for whats in the best interest of the country, instead they vote for what's in the best interest of their parties! |
