In CT the "Statement of Info" form shows up a lot. A LOT.
When we come to it in the package, I explain that it will take them a lot of time and head scratching, and suggest that we wait until the rest of the docs are signed and I begin "... double-checking my work." (This puts the onus on me; I'm not double-checking them. [ho ho ho]) I turn the form 90 degrees and we trudge on. When the borrower(s) has / have signed the last doc in the package, then I retrieve the SoI form and turn the following page 90 degrees. Checking "my work" usually takes less time than them filling out the SoI form! |
