In an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN yesterday, Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson was responding (somewhat angrily) to questions about the Khan controversy when she came out with a statement that makes you wonder whether everyone in that campaign is factually challenged.
She said that Capt. Humayan Khan "probably died" because Obama and Clinton "came in and changed the rules of engagement".
Khan died in 2004, four years before Obama was elected.
Blitzer, as usual, didn't pick up on the error, but Twitter lit up with comments about the Obama time machine, blaming him for everything from the Lincoln assassination to the sinking of the Titanic to the demise of the dinosaurs. |
