I had situations back a few years when things were crazy busy, and I had to pick up docs at FedEx Office & race to the borrowers. I found out they had printed all on letter size & half the docs were cut off. I had to go out the next day with correct docs.
I do hope it wasn't a situation of losing a rate lock or anything.
While I agree that it's wrong for them to ask you to backdate & get nasty with you.
This situation seems like a shared responsibility for the mistake, IMO.
No, they lied about what time they sent you the docs & you were rushed. You spent extra time trying to get the docs printed right. I'm not sure why you didn't call about the problem with the docs.
