That's why you buy a privacy guard for your journal so the only entries visible are the current ones in front of you. Honestly, I did buy one but find it cumbersome to use. So I cover all previous entries with post-it notes - and drop them down as I go along. Previous entries are never visible to the current signers.
I AM considering designing my own - I would prefer to go to a one-entry per page system - open the journal - two pages lie open - info on one transaction on those two pages; when done, turn the page, info hidden. I know someone has one for sale for $19.95 - think I'd rather do my own.
