Here is my experience. They send an assignment to a group of notaries at a very low price - in my experience $75. I like to get a look at the assignment before I negotiate because $75 is very low. Anyway, when I see the package and it's over 170+ pages for a refinance - I contacted them to renegotiate price to $125 which is about where it should be in the first place. They reassigned the file. Not my first experience with them. A few weeks before, I agreed to do a last minute signing for $150 (another very long signing at least as long as this 170+ page one). They made the appointment for 8:30pm in the evening (calling me at 7:40pm) As you can imagine it took some time to print 2 copies or nearly 400 pages. When I tried to have them reschedule it 9:00pm the clients decided it was too late and didn't want to sign. No compensation for the printing I did either. I would advise staying away from them but it's up to you |
