Inform the other notary that he/she should NEVER print docs until they've researched the company. We've all accepted loan signings when we were out running errands, at the dentist's office, at the car wash, etc., and not at our desktop computers to review a company's ratings. But it is imperative that BEFORE printing docs, to look at their reviews in Signing Central for their star rating and use the orange search button here to read past and recent comments about the company.
These days, if the company is less than 5 stars (even the 4 star companies are becoming late/non-payers), it's wise to give the job back, otherwise, the notary just worked for free. And the notary loses even more money trying to collect. Mortgage Doc is a 2.5 star company (out of 5 stars).....now if that didn't scream "DEADBEAT company, I don't know what does. |
