It sounds like you are "downing" the class without knowing anything about it. Don't "wonder" about the class - call and find out if the class curriculum is being taught to a particular standard leading up to a particular certification. Or is it preparatory for taking a specific certification test.
When preparing for my pilot's license, I just didn't go to a class and get a license. The class PREPARES you for taking the written part of the FAA test (and then passing it successfully).
Before putting down someone who is forward looking enough to set up a class on a particular subject in a college setting, it is prudent to first find out what it entails, and what the expected end result will be. It appears you have done nothing - except post an implied complaint about the class and how awful it will be if one dares to attend. |
