just depends on the reason for the re-draw. Depending on why...file may have to go back and be re-underwritten for whatever the change reason is. Then, get in line with the rest of the files for docs. It can take 20 minutes or hours. If the rate lock is expiring/expired, may have to go back to secondary to get an extension. re-disclosures have to be done and someone has to agree to pay the redraw fee. I think the fingerpointing and deciding on who is going to eat the cost is the most time consuming part of the process! And, God forbid, anyone would ever think to factor in a second trip charge to the notary who usually has no fault in the matter.....Smile
