calls me & offers $100, sends a mass email on SnapDocs for $60. I tell them our agreed fee is $100 (has been for the last 5 yrs).
They CALL me the next day w/ $100 (for another signing). Evidently, they want US to pay for SnapDocs! There are SOME reputable SS's that don't try to low-ball you on SnapDocs - very few.
Scheduler tells me he can only offer me $90 on 'these (SnapDocs)'. Explain to me WHY I'd willingly work for 25-40% - LESS!?!?! He says: "we'll give you volume"; I say: "so I can go broke quicker? Sorry, but my fee is my fee - I don't haggle". If they want to haggle, ask for a HIGHER fee...ask them if they can 'help YOU out'!
Some of the emails don't indicate edocs or o-nite; you'd think from the price it was o-nite - very clever: plus they don't call to confirm - just send you the email, which confirms you've been hoodwinked, unless you turn it back. Once I get the FULL scope of work...back it goes! |
