Well, you have received some very very bad information, and I can guess where that bogus slop came from. Not only is it YOU keeping the fees down, there is NO reason on earth for you to accept a low-ball fee. You can either get a loan signed properly or you can't. No amount of $$ is going to change that one way or the other. You deserve a $XXX loan fee like everybody else if you're doing the job. Stop accepting these low fees on the bogus premise you need to gain experience and get your name out there. You're being taken advantage of and as a result are part of the problem.
