If these newbies like Julie feel they have to discount their value, make a deal with these deadbeat SS. Tell them if they send you 10 closings per month at $$$, the 11th closing will be at 50% off. This way you will gain experience and perhaps give them an incentive for the SS to work with you, keeping you busy at least to make the 11th closing.
Creative marketing like this, in my opinion, is better than just taking $75.00 or less loan closings. I have never had to do that, but if you feel that is the only way to work and gain experience, could be an option for you.
YOU set the standards and dictate what YOU will do for them, not the reverse. This is your counter offer if you really feel the need to negotiate. At least you will be paid for 10 closings for the going rate we all have to stick to. |
