| While I haver never experienced it, in central PA there are many Amish and they don't use banks and they are known to purchase farms and acreage for $350,000 and more in cash. Many, many Amish families buy farms for their children when they marry...all paid for with stacks of cash. I'm unaware of how the real estate brokers handle the cash deposits, I only know that's how the Amish deal....cash only. |
