Funny situation with one job. TC called and I turned it down due to availability, later in the afternoon I had a cancellation so when SS called with the same job the scheduler said. "We got the 160 approved for 6:00". I said, "For what?" because I hadn't talked to that particular ss that day.
He thought I'd held out for that amount, so when I told him, nope wasn't me he asked if I'd do it anyway.
Sure.
I feel bad for the notary that had negotiated a better deal but it seemed to me that they honestly didn't have any idea who they had held out for more. Actually it's only 30.00 more than my basic, but it worked out well for me. |
