Yikes! What I understood Cheryl to say is that she hopes that if Tiffany's children follow their mother into business that they don't emulate her crooked practices. Same as your son who you posted recently was interested in becoming a notary; I'm sure you want to pass on to him the best ethics of the business. Sadly, Tiffany's children don't have a good role model in that regard. This has nothing to do with motherhood as far as I can tell. Perhaps you're reading something in Cheryl's post that I'm not seeing ...? Tiffany may be the best mother in the world ..... but her business practices suck. And we certainly would not want bad business practices passed on to the next generation.
I, too, worked with TL ... as did many NSAs in CA back in the day. At least 8 or 9 signings a month for a several years. Many of us CA notaries dealt with her personally, too. Not just on the phone. She paid like clockwork until she didn't. Then I stopped working for her ... I really wanted to trust her, thinking things would get better, but my husband told me I was nuts ... glad I listened to him. I'd get these calls from her mother, desperate for a notary in my neck of the woods. I felt really crummy saying no. But at least I'm not on the creditors list. I feel so bad for all who are.
I just do not understand how someone can run a major business into the ground like Tiffany did. Some SS owners are born crooks (that's why they get into the SS business), like Hector, Amanda K, and many many others. But I didn't get that impression with Tiffany and her family. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes. I'd guess there's a big story there. But maybe she's just like all the others.
