What morons...send the police?? Heck the police will not even get involved with squatters in your house, much less getting involved with this and retrieve "federal documents". Big, IGNORANT scare tactic. After that threat I would surely report them for asking you to back date to their lender and wait for the officer to knock on your door. Never cave to intimidation...they should be worried for asking you to break the law.
