Seems to me you're talking apples and oranges. From my perspective, if a company wants to start off at $75, getting to a reasonable fee (for even a standard size package) is going to take a whole lot more than a "small bump in fee"! I agree with DTF. Not worth my time even thinking about it. Besides, in my area at least, they'll always find someone who will do it for their miserly fee.

Now, if you're talking about starting out at a fee that's acceptable (and $75 doesn't come close IMO), then discussing an additional bump for something that goes way beyond a typical signing (like an extra large package or fax-backs or whatever), then absolutely negotiate. But that's not what the issue seemed to be here.
