IMHO there is no need for 200 or 200-plus pages in ANY refinance.
Therefore, while I can appreciate the frankness you mentioned, I would turn down Title or SS
cold if they told me that. No extra pay is worth it in my opinion. It's the principle of the thing.
Those companies that think they need 200 pages or more should think again.
By refusing to accept those assignments, it sends a message. If enough lenders and tc's get
enough refusals by notaries it may change their thinking about needing so many pages.
OK smart guy...name one "leopard" that has changed it's spots. Try USAA. Their packages
used to be HUGE. No more. But who knows if trouble getting notaries to accept their packages
had anything to do with their sliming down.
That's my opinion on package size. I seriously doubt whether any lenders or tc's give 2 hoots
about what I think. But, on the other hand if enough signing agents object-------------------. |
