BINGO!! My point all along. Deadbeats cannot hide behind a LLC to dodge creditors when their intent is to avoid payment.

You weren't correct when you wrote: "Never goes against the person, only the business, and that's why they fold up shop". That's false. This thread discussion is about collecting from a deadbeat - not about the definition of a LLC. In two posts, I said the JUDGE will see thru a ruse to hide behind a LLC to dodge creditors. I said it twice already, yet you wrote "a judge has to make that determination, not a collection agency,....." A month or two ago, someone posted that a deadbeat SS owner had the *attitude* that since his business is a LLC, good luck trying to get paid.
