2nd Notary
Posted by mtnotary of MT on 3/16/17 10:43am Msg #572004
So I just completed a 2 part assignment where Notary number one was from California. She must be new is all I can say as the following was done wrong.
1. She printed all on letter and sent a note stating "sorry couldn't print legal"
2. She wasn't supposed to have them sign Trustee after their names and the instruction clearly state so so she went through and lined through the Trustee word throughout the entire package and then initialed her line through.
3. She left the date on her acknowledgement dated for today although she clearly notarized it a few days ago.

My question is should I inform the Title company that I had nothing to do with her massive screw ups, or do you think they will be smart enough to figure that out? This Title company is one of my favorite and bigger clients and I sure don't want it to reflect badly on me.

Any suggestions?
