Interesting, if they're making the "modification" there should be no need to access with another e-device. Thumbprints, pin only and other verification method should suffice. It doesn't have to be terribly hard. I was shopping at dept store yesterday and couldn't find my store card . . . no problem, ma'am just enter your SSN at the register. Done. Saved good money for card purchases on sale items - without the card!
p.s. As for so-called upgrades, I've had more problems with account linking using my atm cards; in fact, I withdrew $$ from an atm this month (1st time at that particular branch) and accessed the Emergency Fund account (didn't have as much as I needed in my main/basic). The other day, I found my checking account overdrawn! When I called F.I. rep couldn't understand why the money didn't come from the MM account; then I get a message today: ["We confirmed with card services that your ATM is linked to your Money Market account and can be accessed directly from a branch ATM. You will not be able to access the Money Market account directly from a foreign ATM"].......... Yeah, right whatever. It was done at one of THEIR branches and I KNOW I selected the right account. Besides why would a transaction like that go through??? May not have been for $200 but I wouldn't want someone accessing my account "accidentally" and helping themselves to whatever they wanted - On the House (or Bank) |
