For those IN House Notaries looking to make extra money, wonder if they are Exempt or Non-Exempt.

According to Labor Law, a Non-Exempt employee (Secretary/Receptionist) would be paid OT for hours worked after 8 hrs/day or 40 hrs/wk to include travel. In some instances, that OT can be more that the amount we are getting paid to do a closing. I'm curious how they are actually being paid.....?
