My understanding of these is that you would conduct a presentation of sorts and represent yourself to the debtor as being an employee/representative of the debt resolution company.

Years ago, I responded to some SS regarding a debt resolution presentation offer and this is how it was explained to me. Nope. Didn't do it and won't do it. I'm not there to sell someone's product - whether it's a debt resolution or a mortgage loan. And, I'm not their employee.

After that introduction, I won't even entertain debt resolution offers. IMHO, debt resolution presentations are usually "scammy."
