First, Joyce, let me say I'm sorry this happened to you. Everyone can say you coulda, shoulda, but the fact of the matter is you really don't know until you know. I recently received payment from Notary Pool (Dec 2017) and this is how I did it. After 60 days, I called the title company and spoke with the loan officer. I was very cordial and just "let him know" that I hadn't been paid and I wanted to verify if they had submitted payment to Notary Pool. Within a day I was contacted by Brenda Juardo who not-so-politely asked me not to contact their clients, but that a check was forthcoming. And imagine my shock when I received that e-check. You CAN get paid, but it will take some effort. And just chalk it up to knowing better next time. We've all been there. :-) |
