It's their domain & their lifestyle. I think there's a tactful way to handle a situation like that. I think I'd say, "I don't mean to offend you, but I have allergies/asthma--can we move the signing to another location?" The odor from pot is really heavy & very unpleasant to a non-user.
I've only had a few encounters with odors that were truly obnoxious--like the strong ammonia smell that comes from people who have cats or dogs that don't keep after that.
Unfortunately, I smoke cigarettes & am tired of people making snide remarks about the smell. I know it's nasty but I'm a nicotine addict. I sometimes joke that heroin & cocaine don't have an odor! LOL |
