I read other posters and found that the public can request your journal entry in CA, but all your I's are dotted and T's crossed, you are good...I say this is a crazy lady, however back in 1993 something similar happened to me, and had to prove it wasn't me and was removed off my credit. It was a substantial amount they written off. My ex's last departing divorce gift to clean up and his GF posed as me, and didn't find out for 4 years later. It happens, but there was no notary involved I don't believe. Never seen any paper work, just the results on my credit. A perfect example of how we are still of value! I believe we need more notary's out there for all monetary loans no matter what the size of them. I also think it's a good idea to keep some sort of a journal, even when we don't have to. |
