| If all they want is signatures notarized then I asked that they have reviewed all the documents and filled in any blanks other than their signature and a notary certificate. I don’t need to watch them fill out a document, I just need to identify them and observe them signing. I don’t get technical with people as to the difference between a jurat and acknowledgment. No point and muddying those waters and confusing people, In my humble opinion. |
