To make things short, there was a document that needed a witness and evidently it was one that I could be a witness on, BUT there was ONLY A HALF OF A NOTARY STATEMENT ON THAT PAGE and they wanted me to put my seal on that page. Told them I could attach an acknowledgement or Jurat which ever they wanted and could put my seal on THAT page but not on a page where only half of the notary statement was written . They said that Georgia wouldn't record it if the seal was on the first page. Solution: change the font and put the WHOLE notary statement on the first page then I could put my seal. Has anyone else been ever asked to do this? |
