For hyphenated names or POAs, etc. I reach out via email

(I always request specific instructions in writing) and provide the full name, then examples of how they might want the hyphenated or the POA signed and examples as well of how they might like the initials executed. I do this in an effort to save them time in their reply AND to be thorough.

Usually the Escrow Officer will do a Cut 'n Paste of the method of their choosing and email back. Smile Simple.


I will then print out the email reply, bring it to the signing and the signer(s) can reference this as a template during the document execution.

 I'd ask them to use ABC. A hypenated name still represents -  MW/VA on 10/22/18 7:09pm
