Sorry, I have to disagree with you on most issues you’ve addressed. First, I believe that no one should ever quit learning, regardless of their profession. Whether the training and/or knowledge is something you actually use in everyday life or not, the understanding you gain from any training is priceless IMO. No knowledge is RIDICULOUS.
What money have you already wasted?—being snookered by XYZ for their one day seminar and possibly purchasing their supplies they told you you can’t do without? XYZ certification? Notary seal? Laser printer?—which, btw, are considered dirt cheap compared to the thousand dollar plus lasers not so long ago. Toner? SOS? Internet?—which you more than likely had before, the same as cell phone. Journal? Paper? Stand-alone fax?
I got out of loan signings with the mortgage crash of 2008. I don’t understand why anyone would try or even want to venture into the business today — it has become a cut/throat business that no longer alliows a newbie, let alone someone who has been doing it for years, to make it a profitable business. |
