that nifty little neon light at the "cottage" signing you wrote about recently where there was no table light. I always carry a small flash light in my notary bag … especially good for now when it's dark so early and I have to maneuver my way from dimly lit or no-lit front porch to car through snow and ice. Yikes! But the neon light would be much better for document signing. Then I want to crawl under that Odyssey weighted blanket when I get home. A signer yesterday was talking about those. She works with stressed children and uses these blankets as a calming device, she said. Sounds good to me. Perfect for after a signing where the borrower wants to let his 100 pound drooling dog, straining at the collar, running-in-place paws 6 inches above the ground to "sniff" me. (That's a quote). No thanks.
Anyway, thanks for the great tips! Many useful for loan signing. |
